KOAN SOUND
DUBSTEP/GLITCH-HOP
KOAN Sound is a really interesting dubstep duo hailing from the UK. Signed to Skrillex's OWSLA label, they bring a certain edginess and "deepness" to dubstep that really sets them apart. I first heard them due to a sick remix to Skrillex's Kill Everybody and since then they have just been tearing it up. 2012 has been a big year for them as they recently released their newest EP The Adventures of Sly Fox and even more recently were commissioned to remix the track "Green and Blue" off of the Halo 4 soundtrack. I'm really a huge fan of KOAN's unique sound, and they certainly have a big future ahead of them. We've got a free download of a huge collaboration with Gemini, Culprate and Asa.
