If your new to EDM, you might not know what trap music is. Essentially, a new wave of music is hitting the EDM scene called 'trap' which resembles rap and hip-hop beats but blends that particular high-hat sound with electronic music. Its pretty new but already gaining a lot of steam, and one of the frontrunners of the movement is the duo out of Chicago Flosstradamus. These guys have some mad style, recently releasing a 3-part EP simply called "X" that had a lot of foreign flair to it, sampling many artists including some Dutch "hardstyle" tracks. They're touring nationally and soon internationally and I really only see them growing from here on out. They're playing alongside Skrillex and Boys Noize in Detroit for New Year's Eve, which is a huge milestone for this young duo.
